About Oulton Community Group

The OCG is a non-political group of volunteers who aim to improve amenities in the Village for young and older people, and to bring Villagers concerns to the attention of the appropriate authority.
It consists of a Committee of local residents and is supported by the Village Agent Scheme and Staffordshire Community Council, a charitable organisation which has achieved great success in supporting Community Projects in rural Staffordshire.
We meet regularly through the year to discuss issues which affect Oulton and its residents. If anyone has any concerns they can bring them up at the meetings or use the "Contact Us" and "GuestBook" pages of this website.
Minutes of those meeting will be posted on this site for the benefit of those who could not attend the meetings.
We have already secured funding for setting up this Website and administration costs. The committee take no remuneration and any funding raised will go directly into improving village amenities.
We have worked on many projects including improving the footpath between the village and Stone, the building and administration of the website, Best Kept Village and supporting the Village Hall in fundraising events, had safety gates installed a the play park in Vanity Lane. We, along with the Parish Council have adopted the our old BT Red Telephone kiosk as a part of the village streetscene and for a centre for out village Heritage walk.
